Dallmeier has announced an extension of its software maintenance program for video surveillance equipment. The updated offering allows users to secure support for cameras and recorders for a total period of up to 10 years.
The new maintenance package applies to Panomera systems, single-sensor cameras, and recorders. While standard camera software maintenance currently covers five years, the new option adds an additional five-year term. Recorders receive the same extended support structure.
The package includes licenses for software updates, upgrades, and security patches. It also covers updates for the neural networks used in object classification.
Long-Term Planning Support
Christian Linthaler, chief sales officer at Dallmeier, stated that the 10-year option provides investment protection and planning certainty. He noted that this duration is particularly relevant for sustainable operations in the public sector and long-term security projects.
The announcement regarding the extended maintenance terms was made on July 16, 2026.
